HISTORY OF THE 1980 PORSCHE 911SC WEISSACH EDITION: This Limited Edition 911SC was built in 1980 to honor the Porsche Motorsport team working in Weissach Germany. The interior was full leather in Doric Grey with burgundy piping. Special 15 Fuchs wheels were painted Platinum Metallic and fitted with Pirelli CN30 Tires. A Weissachs most noticeable attributes included, flexible chin on the front air dam and the infamous rear spoiler as known as the Whale Tail. The Porsche Weissach Special Edition Coupe (option number M439) was an immediate collectors car. In 1980 this Porsche 911SC sold for $32,000 and produced 172 horsepower, a top speed of 139 mph and a 0-60 in just 7 seconds.
