You are viewing a very clean example of a Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet 3.2. This low mileage vehicle is believed to be a 3-owner car, that has been maintained and cared for extremely well. The car has a clean Carfax which can be provided upon request.
Production of the Porsche Carrera 3.2 started in 1984 and ended in 1989. It was powered by a 3.2L with 207hp that was 80% new compared to the previous model and was the last iteration of the true 911 series with all future cars having new body panels, styling, brakes, electronic and suspension technologies, giving it one of the last truly raw sports car feel. This cars with the according bumper styling, has truly become an icon in the 911 collectability market.
This example finished in traditional Guards Red over Tan Leather is in excellent condition and shines beautifully. As the pictures show, there are vey few blemishes on the car and clearly was garaged and cared for its whole life. The interior is also in outstanding condition with almost no blemishes. The car is equipped with the desirable Sport Seat option which has perfect side bolsters. The seats are believed to have been under sheep skin seat covers for the majority of their lives. It still retains its factory Blaupunkt stereo, but new speakers have been installed behind the factory grills. The wheels are 16 x 6 fronts and 16 x 7 rears and have brand new Continental Contact DSW tires in a 205/55/16 front and 225/50/16 rear. The wheels are in outstanding condition with the original anodized finish looking almost new. In addition, the car just completed an oil and filter change, brake fluid flush and new belts installed along with a clean bill of health from the garage that did the service.
The car has its original books that have been continuously stamped for service, tools, jack, top canvas cover, and a binder of the service invoices from 1989 to present along with clean Carfax showing no accidents. It shows a mileage discrepancy due to a Motor Vehicle error. The service records and stamped service books show consistency with mileage
These cars have become very collectible over the past 10 years and are amazing fun to drive. They are so well balanced and a blast to push around in the turns. This is one of the nicer driving, mechanical and cosmetic examples that I have seen in a long time.
