1990 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet

You are viewing a very nice example of a Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet.  This extremely low mileage vehicle is believed to be a 3-owner car, that has been maintained and cared for extremely well.  The car has a clean Carfax which can be provided upon request.

When this vehicle was introduced, it was Porsches answer to more power without the expense of the Turbo version.  With more power than the standard 944S and many of the suspension and cosmetic upgrades of the Turbo.  It was produced from 1989 to 1991 with only a limited number produced and a total between all years of production of 2,402 cabriolets. 

This rare example finished in a unique and rarely seen Baltic Blue is in excellent condition and shines beautifully.  As the pictures show, there is a tiny mark on the front right corner of the fender right above the bumper and below the corner of the headlight.  The trunk has a small scratch that has been touched up as well.  The Linen interior shows almost no wear visible as the pictures show.  The paint shines beautifully, and as you walk around it in the sunlight, it shows off the uniqueness of the color.  The dash, which is notorious for cracking shows practically new with almost no imperfections.  The wheels are in excellent condition with no bends or scratches except for a small spot on the passenger front edge that has been touched up.  It has been lovingly maintained by its 3 owners as required, and in 2016, less than 1000 miles ago, had a new Timing Belt, Water Pump and Balance Shaft Belt installed.  Along with a fresh oil change and a PPI just completed this May, this Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet is ready to be driven by its new owner with no apparent needs.

The car has its original books, sales brochure, tools, air pump, original Linen floor mats in a box, convertible top canvas cover, window sticker and a binder of the service invoices from the previous owner.  It also has a new alpine head unit with Bluetooth for your phone and music streaming along with 4 new JBL 2 way speaks in the factory openings under the factory grills.

These cars are becoming collectible and are amazing fun to drive with one of the best feeling shifters of almost any transmission I have driven.  They are so well balanced and a blast to push around in the turns.  This is one of the nicer examples that I have seen in a very rare color combination.
