You are viewing a beautiful example of an original 1991 Acura NSX. This low mileage vehicle is one owner car, that has been cared for extremely well. The car has a clean Carfax which can be provided upon request.
The NSX was designed by a team led by Chief Designer Masahito Nakano and Executive Chief Engineer Shigeru Uehara. It benefited from advanced aerodynamics and styling inspired by a F-16 fighter jet cockpit and input from the late Formula One World Champion, Ayrton Senna, during the final development stages. This NSX became the world's first mass-produced car to feature an all-aluminum body. It was powered by an all-aluminum 3.0 L V6 engine, which featured Honda's VTEC (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control). With 704 examples produced in Black over Black for the model year 1991 makes this a pretty rare example 28 years later.
This example finished in Berlina Black over Black Leather is in excellent condition and shines beautifully. As the pictures show, there are vey few blemishes on the car and clearly was garaged and cared for its whole life. The interior is also in outstanding condition with almost no blemishes. The car was driven on a Sunday drive basis until about 10 years ago when the original owner took ill and put the car in his garage. We purchased the car from him, and it went immediately to our shop for any mechanical and detail work needed. Based on the 10 years that it had been sitting we were quick to take care of any of these needs. Included in the service, we did a new battery, timing belt, water pump, tensioners, drive belts. We also performed a full-service including oil and filter, fuel filter, air filter and fresh spark plugs. In addition, we did a brake master cylinder, brake fluid flush and fresh transmission fluid change. We also installed brand new Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires and had the wheels refinished. All other items were checked out by our shop and given a green light and in excellent condition. The invoice for all the work mentioned above can be supplied upon request and will accompany the car upon sale.
The car has its original owners manual and binder. An extremely rare Acura NSX delivery book, which I believe there were only 100 printed. All tools, jack and spare along with 2 keys.
These cars have become very collectible over the past 10 years and are amazing fun to drive. They are so well balanced and a blast to push around in the turns. This is one of the nicer examples that I have seen in a long time.
