15k-Mile 1995 Ferrari F355 GTS 6-Speed | PCARMARKET

We are pleased to present this 1995 Ferrari F355 GTS finished in Rosso Corsa over a tan leather interior. Among the rarest and most desirable F355's of all, this 1995 GTS 6-speed features a removable Targa top and gated manual shifter as well as a one-year-only OBD1 Motronic 2.7 configuration, allowing for easier maintenance, diagnostics, and tuning.  This GTS was originally sold from Lake Forest Ferrari of Illinois before changing hands with its second and third owners in Minnesota.  It was eventually acquired by the current owner in 2018 when it was treated to a full engine-out service at a cost of over $17k which included new timing belts, a clutch, upgraded steel valve guides, and much more. With just over 15k miles showing on the odometer this highly sought after F355 GTS.

The Pininfarina-designed bodywork is finished in the classic shade of Rosso Corsa and features a rare color-matched removable Targa top. The F355 features distinctive design elements including large side air intakes, pop-up headlights, and a louvered rear engine cover. The seller notes that the hood and front bumper have been previously refinished for cosmetic purposes, and a few chips can be seen on the edges of the wheel arches from normal road-going wear, additional photos are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report. This example rides on factory 18” 5-spoke wheels that come dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires showing date codes from 2018.

Inside, this F355 is upholstered with tan Connolly leather as well as matching carpets and a black upper dashboard. Some notable details include embossed Cavallino Rampante headrest logos, analog Veglia instrumentation, drilled aluminum pedals, and a gated 6-speed manual shifter.  Additional factory equipment includes electric door locks, power windows, heated exterior mirrors, tinted glass, and automatic climate control.  A Sony stereo has been equipped and all the common sticky interior parts have been corrected with white arrows and insignias as specified from the factory. The seller notes there is no shrinkage on the leather dashboard or airbag cover, and that the seat bolsters remain in very good condition.  All gauges and accessories are said to remain fully functional.

This F355 GTS carries a mid-mounted 3.5L V8 DOHC engine featuring dry-sump lubrication and an output of up to 375 HP.  A highly sought-after 6-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential drives the rear wheels allowing for a 0-60 time of approximately 4.3 seconds and a top speed of nearly 190 MPH.  The exhaust has been upgraded with Fabspeed headers, header blankets, and a Fabspeed muffler bypass pipe.  The original catalytic converters remain in place. The one-year-only OBD1 Motronic 2.7 system eliminates some of the emission checks and issues associated with the later versions.  Furthermore, this car does not require the remote key fob to deactivate the system to start.  A major engine-out service was completed in 2018 at a cost of over $17K including new timing belts, a new clutch, upgraded steel valve guides, cam tensioner bearing, gaskets, plugs, wires, hoses, fluids, and an A/C system refresh. The crank position sensor was also replaced in 2018 and an annual fluid and filter service was performed in 2020 along with the installation of a new exhaust bypass valve.  Corresponding records will be included with the sale and images of the underside are provided in the photo gallery.
